Alternative Cancer Treatment
by Marguerita Vorobioff
While western medicine struggles to find a cure for cancer, there are many non-traditional therapies that are having significant success in preventing and treating this life threatening illness, which is the one of the biggest killers in the western world.
Traditional treatments like chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the most widely used for patients diagnosed with cancer, but unfortunately the treatment can often cause more damage than the cancer itself. It is alarming, and not widely recognised, that often people die from the treatment before the cancer. And still doctors are reluctant to embrace other treatments to complement the widely accepted and highly toxic radiation therapies.
But not everybody loses in this equation. While our population becomes sicker, the pharmaceutical companies are making billions of dollars every year out of our suffering. It is my belief that the ‘race’ to find a cure for cancer is being impeded by these powerful organisations in order to protect their profits. And as research is often conducted and funded by these cartels, and doctors are largely educated by them, it is no wonder our society is becoming more and more discontented with the results these drugs are producing and consequently seeking other forms of treatment.
As science is now embracing our existence in a world made from energy, not matter, we are starting to explore possibilities previously considered only for frauds and charlatans. It is now understood that our bodies are masses of vibrating energy. This energy is referred to in other cultures as chi, ki, prana, life force and life energy.
This same principle also applies to other living things: animals, plants, even water. Likewise our food is energy and our fresh whole foods are abundant with life force, where the processed package foods that are so abundant in our diet have little to none of this life giving energy. So it is not just the nutritional content that is lacking from packaged foods, but life force energy which is essential for our survival.
Dis-ease, such as cancer, is caused by a disruption in our vibration that can be caused by physical, emotional or mental trauma. This explains while various energy or vibrational therapies such as reiki, sound therapy and homeopathy can be so effective at treating illnesses or imbalances.
Science have made some extraordinary findings in recent years and much research is making the impossible, possible. But still I find it strange that we put such a great deal of faith in these relatively new treatments, when compared with human existence, particularly when these treatments are the fourth largest killer in the western world. And yet we disregard many ancient forms of healing that have been successfully used in treating illness for millennia by other cultures that are much older than ours.
By taking a holistic approach to cancer the patient has a greater chance to heal emotionally and spiritually, which supports the physical healing. In addition, embracing a diet rich in whole, fresh foods as well as a quality nutritional supplement regime can support the body in it's fight against the cancer. Although, it is very important to consult your treating physician before taking any other form of supplement or remedy to ensure it is not contra-indicated for your treatment. Make sure your physician is familiar with the complimentary medicine or therapy you are considering, and seek a second opinion if you are unsure.
Some alternative cancer treatments you may consider are:
- nutritional supplementation
- naturopathy
- reiki
- EFT
- kinesiology
- chinese herbal medicine
- kinesiology
- intuitive healing techniques
- crystal therapy
- other energy therapies
Patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, or another life threatening illness, are particularly vulnerable and more likely to be taken advantage of because they make highly charged emotional decisions and their judgement can be impaired. Like with any profession, there will always be those who are less interested in helping people than they are in making a tidy profit.
It is imperative for anybody who is seeking treatment to make sure they conduct their own research into any treatment, particularly if it is something that is relatively new, as well as the practitioner who is administering it. There are many alternative therapies that do not have formal qualifications and are extremely successful forms of treatment. But it is wise to ensure the treatment and the practitioner is right for the patient before investing precious time and money in it.
Importantly, when a diagnosis for cancer has been made, the patient should explore what treatments are available and choose one that they are comfortable with. It is also important to ensure that this treatment does not compromise any other treatment regime an oncologist or other specialist has prescribed.
I believe we can prevent and cure cancer right now by embracing a holistic approach to this dreaded illness.
